Tony TornbergPresident & CEOTony is the CEO and founder of LeverageTek. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Tony spent his early childhood living in Charlottetown, PEI. Along with his mother and brother, their small family moved to Calgary, Alberta in the early 80s where Tony spent his formative years prior to moving to the interior of British Columbia to play junior hockey. Tony attended Saint Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, NS where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a Major in Psychology in 1998. Prior to settling down in Ottawa in 2000, Tony lived in the GTA where he started his recruitment career servicing the thriving financial district of downtown Toronto. In 2003, Tony founded LeverageTek and has not looked back. He and his wife, Cynthia, make their home south of Ottawa in Manotick with their three children, Alex, Grazia. and Daniela. The family enjoys travel and have visited many countries together, including Croatia, France, Greece, Portugal, Mexico, Spain, and Italy. In his spare time, Tony volunteers as a youth sports coach. He enjoys playing music, reading, golfing, and has recently taken up boating and cycling. |
Lindsay OzeroSenior Manager, RecruitmentLindsay Ozero has over 10 years of International Recruitment experience. She started her career in Amsterdam and has recruited in a broad range of industries including Accounting & Finance, Administrative & Office, Sales & Marketing and Legal. She has specialized in Technology recruitment since joining LeverageTek in 2016. As Recruitment Lead Lindsay works closely with the recruitment team to ensure the fastest and highest quality execution to serve our clients. Lindsay is passionate about people and talent and, given her broad experience in generalist recruiting on a global scale, she knows what good looks like. |
Chris FrancisEVP, Business Development & DeliveryChris Francis is LeverageTek’s VP of Sales and has been with the organization since May 2006. His ability to connect with people both inside and outside of the organization has made him a key member of LeverageTek’s management team since its earliest days. An eternal optimist, he is constantly seeking ways to ensure success for all stakeholders in LeverageTek’s engagements. A displaced Maritimer, Chris completed his BBA and BIS at St FX before moving to Ottawa (1999) and working as an Account Executive at Bell Canada for five years. He returned to the east coast (Saint Mary’s) to complete his MBA and enjoy 18mos living in Halifax, NS. Shortly after his return to Ottawa in early 2006, he reconnected with a good friend from his StFX days, Tony Tornberg - LeverageTek President and Founder, to be the second employee of the organization. His spare time is focused on shuttling his two kids to sporting events and cooking & entertaining with his wife Jasmine. |
Mark ProvenzanoVice President, SalesMark Provenzano is a Sales Professional with almost 20 years of Sales and Business Development experience. As Director of Business Development, he is responsible for managing key customer relationships and customer retention. He is also responsible for expanding LeverageTek’s business through new customer acquisition. Mark works very closely with other members of LeverageTek’s leadership team to develop ongoing Sales strategy with the goal of continuous growth and excellent service delivery to our valued current and future customers.

Paul YeeChief Financial OfficerPaulina Yee is LeverageTek’s CFO and has been providing financial leadership and guidance to the organization since June 2019. As a seasoned financial professional with over 30 years of experience, she is a clear thinker and is able to convey key information and concepts to facilitate discussion and decision making. A Chartered Professional Accountant, Paulina also holds a Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo. Outside of work, Paulina volunteers on the Audit Committee of the Ottawa Hospital Foundation. She is also very passionate about baking and is often whipping up a batch of cookies or yet another loaf of sourdough. |

She joined the team in May 2020 to finish her last semester of the Business Administration Program with Algonquin College, where she majored in Supply Chain and Operations Management. Shelbie has strong Microsoft Excel and Office 365 skills: along with an effective understanding of Government, Crown Corporation, and Private Sector Service Contracts. She is quite organized and driven to make improvements wherever she can. |
Damanpreet TiwanaSenior Staffing SpecialistDaman joined LeverageTek as a Recruiter in February 2022 and moved into a Senior Technical Recruiter role in April 2023. She is originally from India where she completed her MBA from Panjab University, with major in HR & Marketing. She moved to Canada in 2017 and lives in Calgary, AB (early-riser on the team). She worked for a start-up in India where she donned multiple hats at the same time, which has certainly helped her manage an array of responsibilities. This is an asset while working in recruitment as you must juggle between a lot of things through the day. She worked in customer service here in Canada and enjoys being in a customer facing profession. Irlana and her family visited in Ottawa in 2019 and fell in love with the city. They made the decision to move here permanently in August 2022.
